“I love you O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:1-3

The Lord Jesus called our beloved Robert (Bob) Eugene Halpin (70) home to be with Him on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at home while he slept. He was born May 10, 1952 in Burbank California to Dorothy Steinbacher Halpin and the late James E Halpin.

He grew up in a military family and moved around quite often. Upon graduating High School in Limestone, Maine he entered the USAF and spent 11 years serving this wonderful country. Bob loved the USA and was proud to do his part. As a military child and in his own military experience he spent 17 years living in Alaska. He loved his time there and told many stories of hiking, back packing, fishing, staking land, and building his own home in the “boonies”.

Bob loved the Lord. He had many experiences through his life to feel the love of God. It wasn’t until 1998 when he met Pastor Steve Siegrist, that he really began to understand the marvelous and gracious love God gives. He was baptized and in his journey with God grew and life as he knew it was changed forever! He looked forward to God’s calling him home to heaven. Without a doubt Bob is in the arms of Jesus Christ! Hallelujah!

Bob leaves behind his loving wife, Sharyn Miller Halpin, Son, David Wayne Halpin (DeAnna) of El Dorado, Ks, Step children: Kim Blakley Madison (Calvin Lee), and Chip Blakley (Jen) of King George, Va.
