I had the privilege of working with Ron during my early years with NRCS. He was unfailingly kind and always went the extra mile to help colleagues and customers alike. We may never know how many lives he changed for the better, but it is abundantly clear that he was a model of selfless service and I am fortunate to have known him.

Ron always exhibited a quiet and gentle spirit and was dependable, honest, and hardworking. He was truly a friend to conservation and served SCS and NRCS very well during his career. He was a great man service - both to the military and to the farmers in his work areas. He left the world a better place and we are enriched to have known him. Rest in peace my friend. All the best to your friends and family during this difficult time.
