Ronald “Pat” Blomberg
April 14, 1933 - February 12, 2023
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, February 17, 2023 at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Sherman Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Friday at the church. Burial will take place at Historyland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Children Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
Ronald “Pat” Blomberg, 89, passed away February 12, 2023 at his home in King George, VA. An Air Force veteran, Pat enjoyed spending time building a log cabin by hand, even cutting the trees on his own property. He loved his family immensely.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Harriet Blomberg, his son, Royal Dean Blomberg, and grandson, Nathaniel Readmond.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline “Polly” Blomberg; children, Brenda Hopkins (Ivan), Ronald Leroy Blomberg (Brenda), and Sharon Durrett (Jim); step-children, Kenneth Wood (Linda), Jeffrey Wood (Barbara), Denise Ferrell (Timothy), and Teresa Gray (Donald); 21 grandchildren, 20 step-grandchildren.
