Rosa Martin Wimmer, 75, of Mineral passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019. Born in North Carolina, she was a member of Harbor Light United Pentecostal Church and a loving mother and dedicated pastor’s wife. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Rev. Francis Wimmer; three sons, Aaron, Jerome and Jonathan Wimmer; six grandchildren, Kyle, Stephen, James, Sophia, MacKenzie and Kahleah; three daughters in law, Amanda, Tanisha and Angela; three sisters, Nancy Martin, Bessie Oakes and Sandra Sanford and a brother, Lindsey Martin. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Stella Carol, Carolyn Epps, Beryl Hall and Lula Stewart; her brothers, Mangum Martin, James “Willie” Martin and John Martin Jr; and granddaughter, Brittany Wimmer. The family will receive friends at the Bowling Green chapel of Storke Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 4th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A funeral will be held Thursday, September 5th at 2:00 pm in Wright’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Ladysmith. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Bowling Green. There will be a reception immediately following services for family and friends at Life Church of Mechanicsville located at 8378 Atlee Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Light United Pentecostal Church, c/o Bonnie Lewis 648 Calno Rd. Hanover VA 23069.
