Ruth had worked as a Bartender and Assistant Manager at Reno on the Potomac. Head Cook and Assistant Manager at Pizza Chef. CNA at Heritage Hall and Head Cook at Westmoreland Rehab Nursing Home.

She enjoyed family reunions and was a family historian who knew all the old stories. She loved working in her flower gardens and watching the many hummingbirds that enjoyed her flowers. She spent a lot of time growing up on the old Martin Family Farm. Some will say she was Great-Grandpa Martin’s favorite, and some say his terror. She loved watching classic movies and classic TV shows and often talked about the classic actors.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and time to be announced.

Donations in her memory can be made to your favorite charity or to your local First Responders.

Online Condolences may be left for the family on her Facebook page “In Memorial of Ruth Taylor Norris” or at www.storkefuneralhome.com.
