Mary Sue Motley Andrews, 81, of Tappahannock passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband William Dandridge “Danny” Andrews.  Sue is survived by her son and daughter in law William Forrest Andrews and Karin J. Andrews of Tappahannock and her daughter and son in law Porter Sue Andrews Blanton and Jeffrey T. Blanton of Richmond; three granddaughters Kristen Andrews Foster (Caleb), Austin Isabelle Blanton and Caroline Forrest Andrews; her great-grandson Jonathan Connor Foster; her sister Ellen Porter Stevens (Kenny) of Mechanicsville; her brother William D. Motley (Glenna) of Warsaw and several nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Upper Essex Baptist Church, Caret with the Reverend S. Roy Foster officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service time at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Upper Essex Baptist Church, P O Box 225, Caret, VA 22436.
