A funeral service will be held at 10am, Monday, January 15 in the Chapel Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3702 Loren Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Teresa’s memory with a donation to Mountain View Baptist Church, 6713 Passapatanzy Drive, King George, VA 22485.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the care and compassion of Teresa’s caregiver, Peggy Willliams, and to the kind staff at Heritage Hall.
Teresa Renee Dempsey, 61, of King George, VA passed away on January 8, 2024. Teresa was a special lady with a unique personality. Teresa was loved by all she met and appreciated all the kindness shown to her. She had a phenomenal memory for remembering people. Most importantly, Teresa loved her friends and family.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Willis & Joyce Dempsey; and sister, Deborah Heck.
She is survived by her brothers, Steve Dempsey (Charlene) of King George, Carlin Dempsey (Linda) of Stafford, and Edward Heck (Rita) of Florida; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
