Vicky Minter Pickett, 66, of Woodford, passed unexpectedly at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Emily Durrette Minter. She is survived by her beloved husband, James Pickett; her son, Jimmy Pickett; her daughter, Sarah Medins; her grandchildren, “the love of her life”, J. D. Pickett, Madeline Rae Pickett, Karleigh Medins, McKenleigh O’Connell and Jensen O’Connell; two sisters, Paulette Minter and Judy Luffman (Curtis); a brother, Danny “Joe” Minter (Karen); and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Storke Funeral Home, 111 South Main Street, Bowling Green, VA 22427.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caroline County Animal Shelter, 14080 Devils Three Jump Road, Milford, VA 22514 or potted plants preferred. Immediately following the service, a celebration of life will continue at Vick’s dream home.
