A Celebration of Life service will be held at Wright’s Chapel UMC in Ladysmith at 11:00 AM on Wednesday October 18. Donations to your local animal rescue agency would be greatly appreciated.
Virginia (Ginny) Chapman
Virginia Robinson Chapman, 85, of Ruther Glen, Virginia, passed away in home hospice care on October 10, 2023.
Virginia, more often called Ginny, was born in Norfolk in 1938 to Charles K. and Ida Belle Robinson. She attended Norview High School in Norfolk going to work at AT&T.
Ginny was preceded in death by both parents, and is survived by her husband, Kenneth M. Chapman, sons Stephen E. Howell (Fredericksburg) and Michael A. Howell (Castle Rock, CO), stepchildren Kenneth L. Chapman (Myrtle Beach, SC), Karen L. Nolan (North Charleston, SC), seven grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Ginny was a strong believer in the power of prayer. She was deeply devoted to all members of her family and cherished her pets and wild animals.
