William S, Ayers, Jr, 68, of Milford died Friday, July 29, 2022 at Memorial Regional Hospital. Born in Virginia, he had worked for M. A. Smith Sand and Gravel as a heavy equipment operator. He was known for working on cars, painting cars and enjoyed race cars. He would do anything he could to help anybody. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Brenda Ayers; a daughter, Christina Ayers; three sisters, Peggy Ayers, Mary Yoder, and Kathy Southworth; two brothers, Bobby Ayers and Robert Gerber; two grandchildren, NiAsia Ayers and Daysha Ayers; two great grandchildren, Amiya Washington and Sincere Washington; a nephew (like a son, Chad Branch); and his two pet dogs, “PeeWee” and Cody. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Moore. A visitation will be held 2-5 pm Thursday, August 4 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green.
