My deepest condolences to the family. When Fred talked about his family and grandchildren he always had so much love for you all. I remember two little granddaughters out helping wash cars to raise money for the softball team. I’m so grateful for Fred’s friendship and coaching throughout the years. He had such passion and work ethic for us players, always made us feel listened to and supported without expectation of any small town glory which is a humble rarity. When he came to my mother’s funeral I was so surprised to see him and he said he would always show up for his players. Rest easy, Coach. And thank you for everything.
