Our wonderful friend Hersel is out roaming the mountains of Montana where he longed to be. No longer in pain and dealing with the trials here on earth. It was a pleasure to call you friend. We were privileged to spend time with you over the years fishing and hunting and lots of laughs around the fire. We are so saddened to hear of this wonderful mans passing. Our love and prayers to Hersels loved ones. What a great man he was. RIP Bear.

Hersel Richardson was a good, good man. Our families spent hours and years together camping in Utah and Montana thus most of my memories are of him out of doors and around a campfire. He was a wicked tease and anyone was fair game for his jokes, yet underlying his humor was a tenderness that revealed the true nature of this gentle man. I miss you already, Mr. Bear.
