Janice was one of the most beautiful people I have known. She was a true Christian in her always upbeat attitude, her love and service to others and the joy that simply flowed from her as she lived her life. Especially during these years that she dealt with a terminal disease. Her spirit and bouyancy were a model for all who face difficulty and pain. I always felt energized and joyful after being around her. She will be missed in our community by everyone who knew her but everyone of us who knew her will carry a part of her on with us. My sympathies to her family and friends. I hope your memories will offer comfort and joy.

Dear Family of Janice, Please accept our sincere condolences. She was one of our 58 classmates who graduated from King George High School in 1963. After graduation, she and several of us King George girls went to Richmond and graduated from Smithdeal-Massey Business College. She and others of us worked briefly for the Commonwealth of Virginia but ended up in Dahlgren, where we worked for 30 plus years and retired. She also worked with Luke at the old Naval Space Surveillance Center. Our paths always crossed. She was a delightful classmate, friend, coworker, fellow retiree, and other areas I can’t even label. She was a rock! May she rest in eternal peace and her son, brother, sister, and rest of the family find God’s comfort. Sincerely, Cindy and Luke

Janice loved her church, family, friends, and community and served as a role model of faith and strength for all of us. A family friend for decades, I got to see first hand how special Janice was as we supported Summer Lunch Bunch. While it is sad to lose another Dahlgren icon, I give thanks for this true saint among us and know she has a new heavenly home. Sending sympathy from all the Warren girls, and praying for all the family.
