Lybia Dolores Fulcher, 61, is now resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on November 3, 1960 in Cantera, Puerto Rico and lived a wonderful life of loving others with all her heart, making them laugh with her outgoing personality and sarcastic humor, and accomplishing all her goals with her tenacious spirit, which included attaining a college degree at 47 and learning to play the violin at 55. She is predeceased by her cherished mother, Genoveva Tirado Collazo, and her beloved husband of 20 years, Dan D. Fulcher. She is survived by her treasured fiancé, William Blydenburgh; her father, Pedro Collazo; two older brothers, Pedro (Rosa) and Carlos (Nancy); best friend and sister, Maria (Luís); her dearest daughters, Diane Rosario, Nicole Rosario and husband Jason, who were all with her until the end; step sons Kyle and Scott Fulcher; daughter, Suset Rosario; grandchildren, Alex, Luciana, Tessa, Mila, Koda, Sofia, and Iva Bea, who adored their Mamá; an extended family who she kept close ties with; and many chosen family, friends, and children, who she made feel just like family every chance she got. A memorial funeral Mass will be held at the Church of the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church 8275 Meadowbridge Rd  Mechanicsville, VA on Thursday, June 9th at 10:30 am. The Mass will be livestreamed on the church’s Facebook page. A reception will immediately follow in the church hall and the family would love to visit with those who loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Legal Aid Justice Center(www.justice4all.org), where she spent the last 8 years working tirelessly to make a lasting impact. We would like to give a special thanks to Candace, and Christian Blydenburgh and their families for their attentive and compassionate care of our Mami in her final months. She was loved and kept safe until her last breath and beyond. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.storkefuneralhome.com.
