On Friday, September 15th, Robbie left his family and loved ones.  He was a son and brother, a loving father and doting uncle.  Robbie was an artist, painter, carpenter and wood-worker.  He spent his free time creating intricate wood and metal sculptures or working in his garden with his sunflowers.  His favorite thing to do was to teach his son and nephews about all the beauty our world holds.  He always believed the universe spoke to us, we just had to listen.  Robbie was forgiving and kind.  He would be friends with anyone that would listen to him, and if you were fortunate to have him love you, he loved you hard and with everything.

Robbie, above anything, loved his son, Nicholas.  He was so proud of the young man Nick has grown to be.  He advocated for Nick to question all things and to never just accept them.

Robbie also leaves behind his parents, Neva and Deon Sasser, his sister and brother-in-law, Megan and Kenny Hopkins, as well as, their three children, Ronnie, Oliver and Tommy.  In addition, many aunts, uncles and cousins back home in Texas, who cared for him deeply.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all funds be given to Nicholas Sasser.
