Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 9 at 12noon at Storke Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10am until the time of the service. Following the service, burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Hattie Sue Martin, 78, of Milford, passed away on August 3, 2023. She was a woman who found immense joy in the outdoors and spent countless hours tending to her beloved flower garden, ensuring vibrant blooms all season long. Watching the bluebirds and purple martins brought her great delight, and she especially loved caring for the hummingbirds that graced her garden. Whether it was her garden, birdfeeders, or her family, Mrs. Martin had a special way of lovingly taking care of everything around her.
Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her daughter, Susanne Hass; brother, Benny Hardy; and her beloved cat, Abby Cat.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, William W. Martin, Jr.; children, Woody Martin (Pam), Bonnie Waggoner (Perry), William Thyson V, and James Thyson; sister, Phyllis Compher; brother, Dennis Hardy; grandchildren, Christopher, Billy, Hunter, Frank, John, Abby, Lucas, Cooper, Logan, Brenna, and Briden; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Jaden.
