John Allen Griffin, age 97, passed away on July 25, 2023 in Colonial Beach Virginia. He was born in Detroit Michigan on November 15, 1925to William T. and Belle Fenton Griffin. He grew up on River Rouge Michigan. He was an alumnus of Lawrence Tech. university and Michigan state University. He was employed many years by Parke Davis/Pifzer in Detroit and Greenville South Carolina. He is preceded in death by Geraldine Holman Griffin, who he married on august 19,1967 and by his brother William C. Griffin. He is survived by his daughter Kathleen Billock of Rio Rancho New Mexico and step-children Wayne Defauw of Colonial Beach, Virginia and Linda Defauw of Sterling Heights Michigan and grandchildren Anthony Defauw of Superior, Colorado and Melissa Butler of Stuart Florida. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren to numerous to mention.
