Marie Redman Stone
July 24, 1938 - October 20, 2020
Marie Redman Stone, 82, of King George County passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in Fredericksburg, VA. She was born July 24, 1938 to the late James Redman and Dorothy Maurer. After graduating from King George County High School, she then went on to graduate from Mary Washington College. Marie was a professional cost analyst accountant for many years. She was active in the King George County Historical Society and the American Legion Auxiliary. Marie also enjoyed reading, going to the beach, knitting, watching football and keeping up with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Garrett Stone and Michele Bomont, Clarence Stone and Joanne Stone, David Stone and Ashlee Stone; grandchildren Robert Stone, Geoffrey Stone, Jennifer Salguero, Kendall Stone, Anna Stone and Kate Stone; and a great granddaughter, Olivia Salguero. Marie was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Clarence Stone and John Owens.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
