Roxanne Kingery Varney went home to be with our LORD on March 23,2019, at her home in King George, VA, where she was a wife, homemaker, mother, and avid animal lover. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, weighing only 2LBS, 6OZ, to John and Marie (Culp) Kingery.
She attended Minford High School, and then married her sweetheart Mark Varney. Together for 41 years, they had one son.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Varney; her son, Ian Varney of Houston, TX; sisters, Vickie Sue Gilbert of Portsmouth, OH, Janie (Tom) Smith of Ironton and Robin Elaine Kingery of Ironton; brothers, Howard (Sara) of Lucasville, Mike of Marion and Mackie Dale (Angie) of Minford; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie; her sisters, Hilda Faye Bradley and Norma Jean Champ; by her brothers: Roger Dean, Rocky Dean, George Arnold, Estel Gary, and John (Spears) Kingery.
A memorial Service will be held at noon at Storke Funeral Home in King George, VA on March 30th, 2019. Burial will be in Ohio on April 1st, with a graveside memorial service, next to her beloved mother. Condolences may be left for the family at www.storkefuneralhome.com.
