Carl Allen “Man” Chinault, 77 of Ruther Glen passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at his home. Born in Sparta, he was a member of the Clifton Hunt Club, Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and had retired after 32 years from Kings Dominion. Carl loved being with his family, especially watching his grandchildren participate in sports. He also loved yard sales, flea markets and working outside, enjoying his yard and pond.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dianna C. Chinault; his sons, Keith Chinault (Dawn) and Shane Chinault (Sheila); his grandchildren, Chelsey, Austin, Lucas and Rylee; his sister in law, Shirley Chinault, his nephew/”brother”, Jerry Chinault and numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Julia Chinault and his siblings, James Chinault, Al Davis Chinault, Edith Wright, Dessie Stevens, Betty Bustamante and Katherine Moore. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 20th at 2:00pm in the Bowling Green chapel of Storke Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 until 2:00pm. Immediately following the funeral, a reception will be held at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.
