Christopher S. Goforth, 66 of Bowling Green passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday April 14, 2021. Born in Richmond, he was a graduate of Bowling Green Senior High School and attended the University of Richmond. In high school he excelled at football and track. He had worked for VDOT for 27 years and was currently working for FEMA. Survivors include his wife, Pam Goforth; his daughter, Kristina Brown (Dameon); his grandchildren, Mason and Peyton; his mother, Joyce Roberson Goforth; his brother, John Goforth (Cindy), niece and nephew, Anne Douglas and Zach. His mother and father in law, Aleen and Ray Donald and He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas B. “Frosty” Goforth and his brother in law, Bruce Donald. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Bowling Green chapel of Storke Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, St. Asaph’s Episcopal Church or the Bowling Green Fire and Rescue.
