Donald Leon Rice, 73, of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Heritage Hall in King George. He was born May 10, 1947 in Charlottesville, VA to the late Jesse Lewis Rice and Dorothy Hankins Rice. Donald loved spending time with his family and listening to Blue Grass Music. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Donna Rice, a sister Jacqueline “Jackie” Rice Ellyson and a brother, Ray Rice.
Donald is survived by his sisters, Janet Southall and Delene Gray, 3 nephews, Kenny Wade Ellyson, Norman Ray Ellyson and Jason Staples, 4 nieces, Beverly Myers, Dorothy Gay Prince, Gail Rollins, and Norma Jean Southall, 3 great-nephews, Jesse Myers, John Prince, Jr., and Dexter Prince, and a great-niece, Stephanie Marie Frame.
