Faye Deagle Garrett, 77, of Mineral, Virginia,  passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Louisa Health and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.  Faye was born on December 29, 1944,  in Richmond, Virginia, to the late Charles Everett Deagle and Sadie Hudgins Deagle.

Faye grew up in Mathews, Virginia.  In 1969, she and her former husband moved to Colonial Beach, Virginia, along with their 2 children, Gary and Kim.  Faye was a member of Colonial Beach United Methodist Church and enjoyed her community.  In 1999, she and her family moved to King George, Virginia and moved to Plant City, Florida in 2005.   She loved the sunny weather in Florida and spent much of her time relaxing on her lanai.  In 2011,  she moved to Spotsylvania, Virginia, to be closer to her son and grandsons.  Faye was an animal lover and had many pets throughout her lifetime.  She was especially fond of dogs and loved doting on them.  She was also an avid reader and spent as much time as possible reading anything from novels to magazines.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Wallace Deagle, her daughter, Kimberly Sue Garrett, mother-in-law Doris Garrett and father-in-law Carleton Garrett.

She is survived by her son Gary Carleton Garrett and his wife, Amy,  her grandson, Adrian Michael Garrett and his wife Jasmin, her great-granddaughter, Ozzie Rose Garrett, and her grandson, Logan Carleton Garrett. Also by her cousins, Tommy Ingram and Barbara Jean West, nephew, Doug Deagle and his wife, Andrea, and their son Will.  She leaves behind 3 bonus grandchildren, Hannah Moore and her husband, Eddie, and Gracie McCallum.  She is survived by Kitty Ammons, Michelle and Shayne Stewart, Craig and Chris Ammons, former husband, Tuffy Garrett, caregiver, John Carney, and her beloved pets, Koko and Callie.

A celebration of Faye’s life will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, November 18, 2022 at Storke Funeral Home, 11089 James Madison Pkwy, King George, Virginia,  22485.  Following the service, burial will be at Historyland Memorial Park Cemetery, 11227 James Madison Pkwy, King George, Virginia. At the conclusion of the graveside service, the family invites you to join them for a reception at Storke Funeral Home in King George.
