A celebration of life will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 at Storke Funeral Home, 11089 James Madison Parkway, King George Va. Visitation will begin at 4 pm and a memorial service at 5pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fredericksburg SPCA, 10819 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408, (www.fredspca.org) in remembrance of Hugh.
Hugh Milton Marshall Jr., 71, of King George, Virginia, went home to the Lord on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Born on December 23, 1951, he was the son of the late Hugh (Bill) Marshall, Sr. and Elsie Lumpkin Marshall. He was predeceased by his wife Debby Marshall, his sister, Linda M. Freeman and his brother Michael J. Marshall.
Hugh was formerly the owner of Brumley Homes Inc. and was employed by King George County Solid Waste and Recycling until the time of his death.
Hugh will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and uncle, and as a friend to all he met.
He is survived by his step-daughter, Michelle (Shelly) Mastin (Eddie Joe), his sisters Lillian Rucker (Roger), Anna McDonald (Paul), Becky Melvin (John) and his nieces Amanda Freeman Coode (Steve), Jessica Melvin King (Chris) and Rachel Melvin; along with several other nieces and nephews.
