James Evans Pitts, Jr.
September 30, 1947 - June 4, 2024
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 7, at 11:00 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 13457 Kings Highway, King George. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Following the burial in the church cemetery, everyone is invited to the Family Life Center for a meal and reception.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to King George Fire and Rescue, 8122 Kings Highway, King George, VA 22485.
James Evans Pitts, Jr., 76, of Rollins Fork, King George, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Born in Fredericksburg, he was the son of the late James and Mary Katherine Pitts.
Jimmy was an active member of Victory Baptist Church in Warsaw and had retired after 20 years as a computer scientist with NSWC Dahlgren.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Pitts; his sons, James (Rachel), Jonathan (Heather), and Joshua (Rebecca); his sister, Bonnie Tremblay (Bobby); and his five grandsons, Lincoln, Simon, Edmund, Reuben, and Everett Pitts.
