Jo Ann Hite, 79 of Glen Allen, formerly of Spotsylvania and Bowling Green, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at her home. Jo Ann was a registered nurse and had retired after a career with the Virginia Department of Health. Following retirement, she and Joe enjoyed their home on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in Nags Head. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Anderson Webb “Joe” Hite, Jr.; her children, Leigh Hite Uithoven (Phil), Anderson Webb Hite, III (Rebecca) and Brian Scott Hite (Laura); grandchildren, Michelle Anne Fitzhugh (Patrick), Brandon Scott Roe (Heather), Elinor Bowen Hite and Amelia Bowen Hite; great grandchildren, Preston Michael Roe and Brianna Catelaya Roe; siblings, Marbury Alfred Fagan, II (Pattie), Linda Fagan Sealy, Donna Kay Truslow, Charles Robert Fagan (Glenda) and Michael Sean Fagan. A graveside burial of ashes will take place on Friday, March 11^th at 2:00pm in Lakewood Cemetery, Bowling Green. The family will receive friends at the Bowling Green chapel of Storke Funeral Home on Friday, beginning at 12 noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund.
