Martha Duncan “Marty” Goretsas, 47, of King George, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at her home.
Marty enjoyed and held great pride in her work as a Program Supervisor for the Virginia Department of Social Services in the Fredericksburg Division of Child Support Enforcement.
Marty loved and cherished time spent with family, including her work family. She was always willing to support and help others. Marty touched so many people, and she held a special place in her heart for those near and dear in her life.
Marty is survived and adored by her soulmate and eternal loving husband Noel Goretsas, sister, JoAnne Williams, brother-in-law, Roger Williams, niece, Hannah Williams, nephew, Nathaniel Williams, father-in-law, Michael Goretsas, grandmother-in-law, Beatrice Bellows, grandfather-in-law, Donald Goretsas, aunt-in-law, Gwen Freigen, uncle-in-law, Kelly Freigen, aunt-in-laws Janet Cox and Julie Rich, and other relatives.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Storke Funeral Home, King George Chapel, with a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 p.m.
