Ronald Paul “Ronnie” Vollstedt, Jr., 55, of Woodford passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, June 5, 2020. Born in Alexandria, he had a career as a heavy equipment operator, must recently with Sisson Excavating. One of his proudest moments was volunteering at the Pentagon after September 11^th. He went there with his skid steer and worked to help remove rubble and debris in the aftermath of the terrorist attack. He is survived by his wife, Susan Jill Burns. His wishes were to be cremated.
