Rosemary Lou Brewer Ingersoll

October 20, 1932 - February 7, 2022

Rosemary was a member of Agape Ministry Church in King George, where a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Rosemary Lou (Brewer) Cooke Ingersoll, 89, of King George, VA formerly of Bradenton, FL, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 after suffering a stroke and being ill for an extended period of time. Rosemary was born in Kaiser, WV. She attended college for nursing and received her degree as a registered nurse. In 1955 she married C.J. Cooke, they had 2 children and they eventually moved to Breezewood, PA until Mr. Cooke’s passing in 1986. Rosemary continued her work in the medical and health field and in 1995, she retired after 45 years of dedicated service to others.  In 1991 she was married to Charles Ingersoll, who passed away in 2004.

Rosemary loved helping care for others. She loved her family and her friends, and spending time with them all. In her spare time, she loved reading and watching old movies; traveling and a good race, especially any kind of dirt track racing.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, 2 sons, Douglas Brian Cooke and Christopher Lee Cooke (Julia), 2 step sons, Jeffrey Ingersoll and Gregory Ingersoll, 3 grandchildren, Brittany Cooke, Connor Cooke, and Christen Cooke, 2 step granddaughters, Hunter McDevitt (Matthew) and Savanna Branham, 4 great grandchildren, K.J., Peyton, Tre’ Key, and Carli Jean Key, 2 step great grandchildren, Kaidyne M. McDevitt and Addilyn S. McDevitt, and many nieces & nephews.

In addition to her late husbands, Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Brewer, brothers Wayne S. Brewer & Michael L. Brewer, sister Wanda Critchley (William) and 2 grandsons, Kevin Cooke and Brendon Cooke.
