Angel Renea Brand

March 15, 1993 - February 10, 2022

A viewing will be held at Colonial Beach Baptist Church on Tuesday March 8th, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and then from 6:00 -8:00 p.m.

Her memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9th, at Colonial Beach Baptist Church and will be officiated by Pastor Kenny Daniel.

Angel will be laid to rest at Historyland in King George immediately following the service.

Angel Renea Brand, 28, passed away on February 10,2022. Known as Boo by all who knew and loved her. Angel was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, paternal  cousin, maternal grandfather, Dennis Chester Shannon and her aunt, Sharon Zwicker.

Angel is survived by her devoted mother, Delores Shannon, her father, Robert Lee Brand, daughters, Hailee and Henslee Nunnally, sister, Katelyn Dunaway, grandmother Carol Shannon, cousins, Tiffany Gutridge, Johnny Gutridge, Matthew Griffith, Christopher Shannon and Caylee Rivenbark and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Angel was a graduate of Colonial Beach High  School. She earned an associate’s degree and studied medical billing and coding. Angel worked at Food Lion in both Colonial Beach and King George. She loved spending time with her beloved daughters and family. Music was one of her favorite past-times. Angel attended many concerts with her Mom. She loved spending time outside enjoying nature. No one will ever forget Angel’s personality. Her smile was contagious and she made people happy, especially when they were having a difficult time. Her vivacious personality is difficult to put into words.
