Mark S. Brown, 60 of Ruther Glen passed away at his home on Sunday, November 27, 2022 after a battle with cancer. Born in Richmond, he was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Sparta and worked for over 35 years at Colesville Nursery in Ashland. He considered his co-workers family and they affectionately nicknamed him “Dynamite.” He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen C. Brown and Margie Brown, his brother, Allen W. Brown and his brother in law, Douglas Cannon. Survivors include his siblings, Gerald Brown, Janice Cannon, Dale Brown and Tony Brown; his niece, Shannon Brooks; his nephews, Shawn Cannon and Will Brown and several great nieces and great nephews.  A memorial service will be held at the Bowling Green chapel of Storke Funeral Home on Saturday, December 10^th at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
