Ronald Jason Loe, 42. of Sparta, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018. Jason was born at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D. C. He is survived by his wife, Tammie Southworth Loe, and son, Robert Jesse Loe and his parents, Madalyn R. and Robert H. Leonard of Sparta and Ronald H. and Lois Loe of Chester Springs, PA.

Jason was a man who kept a low profile in life, veered away from notoriety but those who knew him knew of his endless commitment to family and friends.  They knew he was always true, never questioning and knew he always fought the good fight and was a cancer survivor, an excellent testament to strength by all that knew him.

Jason was a devoted husband, father and son.  He enjoyed working with his dogs, gardening, farming and being outdoors.

Jason worked at James River Equipment in Tappahannock as service writer and shop foreman. He was a problem solver who often took on difficult and unwanted projects at work.  He handled stress with ease and was always willing to help others around him, especially farmers.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 PM Sat., Jan. 12, 2019 at Salem Baptist Church in Sparta, VA 22552. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to Madalyn R.  Leonard, and please put for the “Jason Loe Family” in the memo portion of the check.
