Virginia M. Angle (Stein) passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 91 years of age in Colonial Beach, Virginia. She was born, on May 25, 1932, and raised in Washington DC, spending her summers at the family cottage in Colonial Beach. She retired from the U.S. Department of the Navy with a successful career in human resources and made Colonial Beach her permanent home.
Virginia loved spending time with her family and long-time boyfriend Johnny O. Martin (D) fishing, hosting crab feasts for the family, caring for neglected cats, and all water-related activities. She loved dolls, antiques, and collectibles, and was an active member of multiple doll clubs including The Black-Eyed Susan Doll Club of Maryland, Now and Then Doll Club of Fredericksburg, and a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs.
Virginia was proceeded in death by her late husband Donald R. Angle (US Navy Chief), her parents Milburn T. Zirkle and Elizabeth W. Zirkle, and her sisters Elizabeth M. Morecock and Eleanor A. Prevost. She is survived by her daughters, Robyn R. Parrish, Virginia (Bee) Stumpf, and Jerrie L. Dobbs; grandchildren, Jeremiah R. Parrish, Melissa M. Burkhart, Jessie M. Hewett, James E. Dobbs, Timothy G. Stumpf, Joshua M. Parrish, Nathaniel A. Parrish, and Meghan J. Parrish; great-grandchildren, Amelia J. Rouse, Malachi M. Parrish, Peyton A. Burkhart, T. Tyler Stumpf, Memphis M. Parrish, Avery D. Hewett, Autumn L. Hewett, Sky R. Arana, Leonardo A. Arana, Remington O. Stumpf, James E. Dobbs Jr., Harlyanne E. Stumpf.
