Andrew Lee Frank

September 5, 1926 - July 23, 2022

The family will receive friends from 4–7pm on Thursday, July 28 at the Storke Funeral Home, King George. 

Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Friday, July 29 at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Reverend Randolph Allensworth officiating.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. 

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  

Andrew Lee Frank, 95, of King George passed away surrounded by his family on July 23, 2022 at his birthplace and lifelong residence, Long Acres Farm.  He was born September 5, 1926, to the late Jeremiah Andrew Frank and Hattie Lee Frank.  Lee was a retired employee of NSWC Dahlgren and a lifelong farmer.  He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, the Ruritan Club and a former board member of the Farm Bureau, Southern States and Fredericksburg Land Use Office.  Lee enjoyed many things especially farming, blue grass festivals, traveling, but most importantly spending time with his family.  He was a beloved husband and father who above all enjoyed being a devoted grandfather.  He will be greatly cherished and missed.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wives Joyce P. Frank and Orpha J. Frank, a daughter Linda Lee Frank and a sister Mary Lou Carroll.  Lee is survived by his daughter Shirley A. Frank; four step-children Ruth Ann Loving, Joyce Skidmore, Dickie Roland and Morris Roland; two grandchildren Robert L. Burge (Dawn) and Melissa N. Burge; four great-grandchildren Preston Duque, Austin Blake, Brittany Burge and Robert Burge, Jr.; three great-great grandchildren Nehemiah Blake, Ava Blake, and Kyndall Burge; seven step-grandchildren Brian Loving, Jeannette Loving Durette, Greg Loving, Karen Loving, Chris Skidmore, Melissa Ellison, and Dana Laynard.  The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all of Lee’s caregivers, especially Phyllis Jett and Hazel Baylor whom he regarded as family.  The family will receive friends from 4–7pm on Thursday, July 28 at the Storke Funeral Home, King George.  Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Friday, July 29 at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Reverend Randolph Allensworth officiating.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church, 13457 King’s Highway, King George VA 22485.
