Betty Marie Bustamante, ascended to Heaven to be with the Lord on August 25, 2020.  She grew up in historic Sparta, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert & Julia Chinault, many siblings & one surviving brother Carl “Man” Chinault (His wife Diana) who she loved with all her heart, that kept her company for many years. They would sit and chat on many occasions reminiscing about the good old times and the present.  In 1963, at Fort A.P Hill Betty met & fell in love with her soulmate Paz Bustamante, Sr. & in 1964 they were married at the Bowling Green Methodist Church in Bowling Green, Va.  Betty had 3 loving Children, who were the love of her life, and their Mama was the love of their life. Rose Kelly (Son-In-Law Todd), Rhonda Byrd (Son-In-Law Joel) and Paz Bustamante, Jr. (Daughter-In-Law Faith). Words could never describe the bond they had with their Mother; she was the rock that held them together in whatever situation they were going through.  Also, Betty was a loving Nanny to 12 grandchildren Eriq Bustamante, Tiffany Kelly, Corey Bustamante, Bryan Kelly, Manae Bustamante, Amber Kelly, Deja Jones, Joel Byrd Jr., Julian Bustamante, Tahn Bustamante, Tiffany Battle, Emanuel Stanley & 18 great-grandchildren who loved her dearly and a host of nieces & nephews. She was the rock of their foundation.  Betty always made sure everyone was ok. She would call and check on her family every night and she would say, “What you doing?  You doing alright? That was Nanny making sure her kids & family were ok at the end of the day.  She made sure everybody had and if they didn’t, she made sure they did.  She was a very beautiful, kindhearted, sweet and caring woman who loved her family. She will be greatly missed! The family will receive friends & family at Storke Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 @ 1:00pm. Funeral Immediately following at 2:00pm with burial to follow in Green Lawn Cemetery
