The family will receive friends on Friday, February 17th from 6:00 – 8:00pm at the King George chapel of Storke Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, February 18th at Shiloh Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Edna R. Lee, 90, of King George County passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 at Heritage Hall Healthcare. Edna was born July 10, 1932, in Woodford, Virginia to Rufus and Carrie Richardson. She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Lawrence Lee; sister, Dorothy Merryman; brother, Lacy Richardson; an infant daughter; three half-brothers; and three half-sisters. Survivors include a nephew, Joe Minter and his wife Lori of King George and their daughters Emily Espetitee and her husband Brian, of Camarillo, California and Carrie Minter and her fiancé Barrett Henry of Tacoma, Washington; and nieces, Linda Beer of King George; and Sandra Coombs and her husband, Ron and their sons, Jack and Josh, all of Chesterfield County; and a number of nieces and nephews.  She worked as a teacher’s aide in the King George County School System. She retired from the Office of the Commissioner of the Revenue after 20 years of service. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ, tending to her flowers, making flower arrangements, sewing clothes and traveling. She served as pianist at Montague Baptist Church and organist at Shiloh Baptist Church.
