Joanne Donnelly Hill passed away peacefully on January 1, 2023 at Madison Center Nursing Home in Morgantown, WV. Born to John Sr. and Joan Donnelly on July 27, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the oldest of four siblings. Joanne married James Jennings Hill Jr. on September 6, 1975. She is the mother of Jacie, James III, and Justin. Joanne was a giver. She was beyond dedicated to her career. Her hard work and tireless effort showed in everything she did. Joanne loved her family; she went above and beyond for them all. She never complained or showed any type of discomfort. Even when she became ill, she pushed through. The best word to describe her is resilient. Joanne was predeceased by her father, John Donnelly Sr., mother, Joan Donnelly, and brother, John Donnelly. Joanne is survived by her husband of 47 years, James Jr.; daughter, Jacie (Jason); and sons, James III (Crystal) and Justin (Tennille). Grandchildren Nicholas (Layla), Lacey, Cameron (Girl Camryn), Jordyn, Justin Jr., and Avery. Three great-grandchildren, Madison, Nick, and Dean. Two sisters, Beth Senick (Bobby), Jennifer Donnelly (Bill); nephews Robert Senick and Jack McQuilkin; nieces Brianna Senick (Joe), Taylor Rogers, and Payton McQuilkin; and great-niece, Alivia. Joanne will be missed by many. We will always carry her memory in our hearts. A celebration of life will be held at Storke Funeral Home, 11089 James Madison Pkwy, King George, Va 22485, at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
