Judy Anne Covington, 57, went to Heaven to be with her Lord on Monday, February 7, 2022 after a brief illness. Born in Pennsylvania, the Marine Corps brought her family to the Fredericksburg area when she was a child. She accepted Christ and served as a faithful member of Round Oak Baptist Church until her husband was called to serve as Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church. She has served others faithfully through volunteering in schools, hospitality, serving in the church kitchen and working with children. Judy loved cooking, the beach, spending the summers in her swimming pool and exploring nature with her Grandson Oliver. 

She is the beloved wife of Pastor Melvin Covington, Jr.; loving Momma of Melissa Roche’ and her husband Jason; amazing Gra to Oliver Roche’. She is survived by three sisters, Vicky Langford, Wendy Shaver & their families and Kathy Junger.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, February 18^th at Bowling Green Town Hall with a time of fellowship & sharing until 8:00pm. All Covid-19 restrictions will be followed.
