Melony Brown, 57, of Dahlgren passed away Friday, March 15 2019, at Mary Washington Hospital.

Melony was born in Tacoma Park, MD and grew up in Dahlgren, VA.  She enjoyed a long career at Mary Washington Hospital and worked in patient care and administration during her 30 years there. Melony loved being a mother and was devoted to her children.  She loved taking spontaneous day trips with them, especially to the beach.  She is survived by two sons, Austin Ray Heflin and Caleb Scott Heflin both of Dahlgren, VA;one daughter, Victoria Grace Heflin of La Plata, MD;  two brothers, Robert Brown of Newburg, MD and Michael Brown of Dahlgren, VA; two sisters, Lynn Ann Chester of King George, VA and Kathey Dalrymple of Middleburg, FL; one granddaughter and 5 nieces and nephews.  Melony was predeceased by her mother, Linann Brown, father Mclain Brown and brother, Eugene Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Round Hill Baptist Church, 16519 Round Hill Rd, King George, Va 22485. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Round Hill Baptist Church cemetery.
