Michael C Ambrose Jr, 27 of Caroline County passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Michael was born January 17, 1995 in Prince William County to Michael C. Ambrose Sr and Denise A. Barker.

Michael was a jack of all trades. He worked in masonry, as a mechanic and had many side jobs to make ends meet. Michael would give his shirt off his back to help anyone, even if he didn’t have one to give, and was always a call away no matter the situation. Michael enjoyed spending time with his nephew Gavin, fishing and going on their unpredictable, sometimes mischievous, adventures and their singing abilities were always on point. Michael loved spending time in the back yard with his nephews and being his silly, humorous self. He was a big kid at heart himself. When given the opportunity Michael also loved spending time with his son Brantley, whom he cared the world for and loved very much.

Michael is survived by his parents, Michael C. Ambrose Sr and Denise A. Barker; his son Brantley Ambrose; two sisters Brittany Ambrose and Tiffany Pickett (Timothy) whom he thought of as second parents; three nephews, Cameran Pickett, Gavin Pickett and Winston Pickett; Wayne and Debbie Pickett whom he thought of as grandparents; Aunt Betty Barnett whom he thought the world of; and numerous cousins, uncles and aunts.

Michael was preceded in death by his Uncle David Gilkerson and is with his beloved grandmother Rebecca A. Barker. He is now in her loving care with no more worries, struggles or pains.

The family will receive friends at the Bowling Green chapel of Storke Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27^th from 6:00 – 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 28^th at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel.
