Rose M. Ransom, 68 of Colonial Beach, formerly of Maryland, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the home of her daughter in Ruther Glen. Born in Maryland, she was an avid line dancer and enjoyed playing the lottery.
She is survived by her children, John R. Lederer, Jr. (Rebecca), Rose Marie Middleton and Dawn Smith (Matt); her step children, Wallace Ransom, Jr. (Annita) and Missi Ransom; her sister, Susan Brickman; her brother, Donald Peed; eleven grandchildren, Cole, Cody, Chad, Hunter, Kyla, Dylan, Aliyah, Kena, Carlyn, Sloan and Ashlynn and two great grandchildren, Camden and Tyler. She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Ransom, Sr. and her sons, Donald and Eric Ransom. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
