Therese Rose Taylor Poirier, 91, of Ruther Glen died Friday, June 14, 2019 at her home. Born in Massachusetts, to William Patrick Taylor and Eva Irene Taylor (Metivier), she moved to Connecticut and California before coming to reside in Virginia in 1998. During her life, she was a bookkeeper for various businesses and during the war efforts of WWII, she had worked on airplanes.

She is survived by her son, Joseph “Jay” Poirier and his wife, Susan; two grandchildren, Emilie Rose Poirier and Joseph Maurice Poirier, III, nieces Elena and Irene and special friends, Barbara, Cindy, Sue, Mary Lou, Jane, Nita, Elizabeth, Dianne, Carol and Gloria.  She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary, Pat and Eva.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
