A funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday, May 5, 2023 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Troy Lee Young gained his heavenly wings on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the age of 62. Troy was born on February 28, 1961 to the late Phillip (Teddy) and Barbara Young.
Troy is survived by his beloved soulmate and wife of 42 years, Joyce Young; their beautiful daughters, Sara R. Boyd (Brandon), Kassidy L. Young (Edward), Teddie N. Young (Phillip); his four-legged best friend, “Rocko”; his grandchildren, Bradlee, Madison, Waylon, Brycen, Blake, Landon, Emma and Teddie’s fur baby “Ziggy”; two sisters, Debbie Young and Dina Hendrickson and a brother, Kip Young.
Troy loved fishing, shooting matches, relic hunting, casinos, gardening and most importantly, spending time with the grandkids and family. Troy also had a love for his career working for Columbia Gas of Virginia.
